Hello. My name is Carol Park and I am from Cerritos. Cerritos is a tiny city in Los Angeles. I have lived in Los Angeles all my life and when i was younger i atteneded Cerritos Elementary. Even then i knew that i wanted to do art for a careers. In 6th grade I tried out for a performing and visual arts school called OCHSA and I made it. I went there from 7th to 9th grade but decided to leave because the commute from Cerritos to Santa Ana was taking a tole on me. I had a wonderful time at that school. Then in 10th grade I went to Gahr High school. At first i hated it and wanted to go back to OCSHA.
Even though I left my arts high school, I was still very interested in art and intended to go to an art college. My plan was to go to Otis since 7th or 8th grade, but I didnt know what I wanted to do exactly in the art field. I think high school was the best years of my life, especially senior year. I had made my best friends that year, I never studied and everyday was a party.
On my free time i enjoy reading books, just kidding, i enjoy reading magazines about art, music, fashion. I wish i was good at using the computer but people think I am computer illiterate. My favorite movies are Goofy Movie, Donnie Darko, Mean Girls, and Fight Club. I don't watch much television throughout the week, but on the weekends i like to watch Family Guy like everyone else. My dislikes are noisy eaters and inconsiderate people, especially inconsiderate drivers and people at the market. ( those people who don't move their carts and just leave it in the middle of the isle) This is starting to sound like an advertisement for a relationship, so I will talk about school. I had very high hopes and expectations for Otis and still do. I plan on continue going to school after i graduate, or maybe if I feel the time is right, I might even transfer. I still don't know what i want to do with my life, but I'm sure everything will work out fine. I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it!
